I decided to go "Monochromatic" this week for the Sketch Challenge at Create with Connie & Mary. What is a "Monochromatic" card?

Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue. Example of Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue, and extended using its shades, tones and tints (that is, a hue modified by the addition of black, gray (black + white) and white. As a result, the energy is more subtle and peaceful due to a lack of contrast of hue.

This is the sketch you are to use for the challenge:

I agree with the meaning of Monochromatic when they used the word "peaceful", especially when using Bashful Blue:

I used Paper Snips to cut out all 3 of my flowers from the "Fabulous Florets Stamp Set" and glued them with Stampin' Dimensionals for one of my layers. The layer beneath the flowers is the Top Note Die embossed with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder:

And the background consists of a different flower from the same stamp set, stamped with VersaMark Ink and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder heat set with my Heat Tool:

There are so many possibilities with this sketch........show us what you can do. If you've never tried a challenge, this is the perfect one to give it a try with. Come join us!
