We have super-wonderful ideas for you this week at Create with Connie & Mary for our challenge. How about some Gift Card Holders! And just in time for Christmas!

I held a class using the Envelope Punch Board a few months ago, and I know my girls will love adding this to their list of projects (Hi Girls!):

It's a mini file-folder Gift Card Holder!

I added a little bit of shine with the Champagne Glimmer Paper stars cut with the Star Punch:

And a bunch of different sized trees using the Tree Punch. There's also a pocket on the inside to slide the gift card in and a separate white layer to add a little bit of hand-writing:

If you would like to create one of my gift card holders, here's how:

Melon Mambo Cardstock measuring 6" x 5". Score on the 6" side at 3".
Using your Envelope Punch Board, punch on the very edge of the 5" side of your cardstock by lining up with the edge of the hole where shown below:

Slide the cardstock to the 2" mark and punch again. Turn your cardstock clock-wise to the other 5" side and repeat.
Use your Paper Cutter to cut and remove the non-tabbed strip on each side where you punched.
Use the Corner Round portion of the Envelope Punch Board to round the corner on each tabbed end.
Trim The Tree Designer Paper measuring 2" x 4" for the front. Round the same top corner with the Corner Punch.
Trees cut with the Tree Punch, Whisper White & Melon Mambo Cardstocks. I embossed one with the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder.
Add a few Glimmer Paper stars.
Stamp your chosen sentiment and cut with the Modern Label Punch and glue with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The ribbon is glued to the back with Sticky Strip and you wrap it towards the front and tie into a bow.
For the inside, the pocket measures 4 3/4" x 1 1/2" using Melon Mambo Cardstock. Add Sticky Strip to the two short sides and the bottom, glue in place.
Add a designer paper layer to pocket measuring 4 1/2" x 1 1/4".
Add the signature layer using Whisper White Cardstock measuring 2 1/4" x 4 3/4". Glue one tree cut with Early Espresso Cardstock and the Tree Punch. Add one Glimmer Paper star.
Oh....and add one Gift Card!
