I am going to be so saddened when this stamp retires at the end of the month. The Summer Mini Catalog was one of my favorite Mini's this time around. It was loaded with products and stamp sets to accommodate the masculine fellas. Here is a card I created with the solo stamp "Sail Away":

If you would like to know how to create the "sky", click HERE for my tutorial. The "sun" was created by punching a hole in a cardstock piece with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. Use that hole and a Sponge Dauber to add color to your background. I swirled an extra layer of color on the outside edges for dimension:

Look at all those birds! I inked my stamped image a few times and added masking tape to the sailboat so only the birds would stamp'

For the sailboat, I stamped the image a 2nd time on More Mustard Cardstock and hand-cut the sails. Add Stampin' Dimensionals and glue to sails to the first image. Instant "pop":

Card supplies:

  • Stamp Sets: Sail Away, Petite Pairs

  • Inks: Basic Black, Baja Breeze, More Mustard

  • Cardstocks: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, More Mustard

  • Tools: BigShot Machine, Scallop Square Die, Top Note Die, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Sponge Daubers, Scallop Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
