Having a bit of trouble with the hot-spot internet connection on my phone – this is the extent of my desire to live remotely and off grid..LOL!

But last evening as we returned to Sterling after classes in Soldotna, we came upon an amazing sight, at the piece of property right next to where our lodgings are.

A mama moose and her twin babies were feeding in and around the yard of an old forgotten cabin ---

We stopped the car, rolled down the window, and I shot this little video from the safety of my car seat – we did NOT attempt to get any closer….

Today we are headed to Homer for a bit of sight seeing, enjoying the last of a very quick trip to Alaska.  Tomorrow evening ((Monday eve)) I fly home on a red-eye flight, getting into Greensboro sometime Tuesday morning.  Wednesday will be catch up ---Thursday – I pick up Mickey Depre at the airport and Collaboration Celebration Winston Salem will be under way!

Those of you who are traveling to spend that time with us – I wish you safety in your journey – can’t wait for all 45 of you to get here!
