I'm at it once again with the Petal Cone Die! This die is so worth the money for creating 3D projects. I posted the card below HERE a few weeks ago. I am now adding a matching birthday hat goodie  holder:

Photo of birthday hat:

See how it opens and closes with velcro dots on the underside? I created a flap that I glued on one end and added 2 velcro dots on the other end:

Use the "Just Add Cake DSP" for the petal cone shape. Instead of folding the flaps towards the inside of the cone, fold them on the outside to create "legs". Cut out 4 more flaps and glue in-between the existing flaps. I used the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch to layer on my flaps. I also used the Tasteful Trim Die to add decorations to the bottom of my birthday hat. The sentiment is from the Perfect Punches Stamp Set and punched with the Wide Oval Die. Add skinny strips of DSP to the top of the birthday hat by snipping the end and inserting the strips.

Supplies:
  • Tools: BigShot Machine, Petal Cone Die, Tasteful Trim Die, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Wide Oval Punch
  • Inks: Wild Wasabi
  • Stamps: Perfect Punches
  • Misc: Velcro Dots
