A few days ago I made a card using Pinwheels, something we all made as children....do you also remember making rosette's as a child? Funny how things from the past creep back up on us. A few days ago I was watching something on TV concerning sports. I played sports all throughout my junior high, high school and college years and even played softball well into my 30's. Do any of you remember the "sweat socks" we used to wear back in the late 70's into the 80's? The ones with the stripes at the top that we pulled all the way to our knees? THEY'RE BACK! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, that's what the pinwheel's and the rosette's make me think of........things from the past that resurface:







Most of you have now received the new Holiday Mini Catalog. The most wonderful new item in this new catalog is the "Simply Scored Scoring Tool". This is the tool I used to create these rosette's:





This new scoring tool has score tracks every 1/8" and two easy-to-read rulers along the top and left side for perfect scoring. Check back next week and I'll have a tutorial on how to make these rosettes!
