Who doesn't like butterflies? Butterflies are out in abundance this time of year and I just love to see the smile on my granddaughter's face when one is out and about. The stamp set I am using today is a hostess stamp set called "Precious Butterflies". You can earn this stamp set for free by allowing me to come in to your home and show you some projects. What a great way to invite some close friends and spend a night stampin'!

My cards starts out with a beautiful frame around the edges of my cardstock. The "Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Folder" is quick and easy. Plop your cardstock into the folder, run it through your "BigShot Machine" and presto!

Notice some more embossing on the "Perfect Plum Cardstock" layer? Again, plop the cardstock into the "Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder" and viola, more embossing! I also used  a little bit of "Shimmer Paint" over the embossing on this card layer. I dipped a "Sponge Dauber" into the lid of the paint (wouldn't you know the Sponge Dauber fits perfectly into the lid?) and gently rubbed the paint across the embossing!

The "Ovals Die" is also another quick and easy way of cutting out a shape with your "BigShot Machine". I stamped the images with "Wild Wasabi Ink" and "Perfect Plum Ink". All of my butterflies are stamped on a separate piece of "Whisper White Cardstock" and hand-cut with my "Paper Snips". Add a little bit of bling to your card by adding a few "Pearl Jewels".
